Congratulations to the winners of the 6th annual Great Ontario-Hopped Craft Beer Competition which paired 18 Ontario breweries with hop farmers to brew a Black IPA. Participating hop growers must have more than 400 hop plants or ½ acre in production with the intent to sell for use in commercially available beer.

2018 Grape King named

The Grape Growers of Ontario and Farm Credit Canada have announced that Chris Van de Laar of Niagara-on-the-Lake has been chosen by his peers as the 2018 Grape King. He follows in the footsteps of his father, Peter, who won the same distinction in 1985.
