Trade mission to India

Ontario’s first agri-food trade mission to India set off on November 13 and concluded November 20.  Led by Jeff Leal, minister of agriculture, food and rural affairs and Michael Chan, minister of international trade, this mission represented a first for many of the participants. Representatives from horticulture include Martin’s Family Fruit Farm and Pillitteri Estate Winery.


The mission visited New Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh.  Delegates participated in a Canada-India Business Council Summit and Agro-Tech 2016, India’s premier biennial agro-technology and business fair.
