“A.M.A. has always been fully immersed in horticulture,” said Connie Bradt-Monsma, managing director of A.M.A. Horticulture, on the opening day of the Canadian Greenhouse Conference, October 3. “This name change is our declaration of who we truly are as a company and, more importantly, who we serve.”

The company’s news release, noting its record of innovative solutions and products, includes the invention of Al’s Flower Pouch and RootSmart propagation tray, which helps growers avoid root girdling.  They also work in hydroponics, propagation, berry production, design of crop-specific substrates, custom propagation packages, plug trays and containers, growing systems that support automation, and more.
