Farmers’ Markets Ontario, servicing more than 180 markets across the province, has announced a special week to focus on the growth and achievements of these vital community events. 

Some are held from the May 24 weekend to Thanksgiving only. Others have indoor facilities which allow for consumer service up until Christmas.

The organization has a MyPick Verified Local Farmer which certifies that each farmer is growing its own produce for sale.
