The Nakamura Family has been farming for many decades near Taber in southern Alberta. The fourth generation is taking over with the same focus of growing potatoes sustainably for the French fry and potato chip industry. This six-minute video episode features their hard work and determination to grow the perfect chip potato for Pepsico FritoLay and the legacy they continue to build.

“We are grateful for the families that participated and allowed us to be a fly on the wall for the past year gathering information about their family and potato operation,” says Deb Brewin, communication and promotions director, Potato Growers of Alberta.
