Norfolk County Agricultural Society has partnered with Farm & Food Care Ontario (FFCO) and local Schooley Orchards/Apple Hill Lavender. Together, they are hosting "Breakfast on the Farm" event, set to take place in the beautiful agricultural community of Norfolk County on August 23, 2025.

This unique event brings together families, food lovers, and farm enthusiasts to experience Norfolk County Agriculture up close. Breakfast on the Farm offers a rare opportunity to connect with local farmers, tour a working farm, and learn about food production while enjoying a delicious, locally sourced breakfast.

Attendees will gain firsthand insight into farm life, including the dedication and innovation that go into producing top-quality food. Organizers are calling for partners, volunteers, and attendees to join in making this event a memorable success. Partnerships provide an exceptional platform for businesses and organizations to support agricultural education and reach an engaged, local audience. Volunteers are at the heart of Breakfast on the Farm, playing a key role in welcoming guests and enhancing the experience for all attendees.

“Breakfast on the Farm is all about connecting people to agriculture,” an FFCO spokesperson shared. “It’s a chance to open the barn doors and give people a hands on closer look at the work and care that go into feeding communities across Ontario.”
