Niagara-based grower Douglas Darling has been appointed president of the popular horticultural event held annually in Niagara Falls.

Mr. Irving transformed a small frozen foods operation into Cavendish Farms, now one of the largest French fry processing companies in North America.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association hosted its 2026 Fresh Week in Toronto, registering more than 4,600 attendees from 13 countries. Ontario premier Doug Ford and ag minister Trevor Jones were on hand for the official opening ceremonies.
