Fred Webber, the retired president and CEO for the Fruit and Vegetable Dispute Resolution Corporation passed on November 24, 2025.

The Ontario Produce Marketing Association honoured leaders in several categories at its November 21 gala in Niagara Falls including Tom Hughes, president of EarthFresh Farms for Lifetime Achievement.

The Prince Edward Island potato industry has recognized Boyd Rose and Pat Quilty with industry achievement awards. A new Passion for Potatoes award honours Isaac MacEwen and Jacob Enman.

Katie MacLennan becomes the new chair of the board, the first female to do so. A seed grower, she and her husband farm in West Cape.
