The International Federation of Agricultural Journalists has awarded runner-up honours to Karen Davidson, editor of The Grower, for “Artificial intelligence eyes auto-labour.” The August 2024 cover story received the nod in the Innovation Category.

The Canadian Farm Writers’ Federation has recognized The Grower’s excellence with silver prizes in production photography, technical reporting and current affairs reporting at its 2025 awards banquet.
