Pure Flavor opens new Michigan Distribution Center

Pure Flavor is marking the official opening of its new, state-of-the-art distribution center in Romulus, Michigan on July 1. The nearly 200,000 sq. ft. facility serves as a central hub for the distribution of the company’s fresh,greenhouse-grown produce and is designed to reduce food miles, improve shipping efficiency, and strengthenservice for retail and foodservice customers across the region.

 

The Romulus facility is strategically located within a 500-mile radius of nearly half the U.S. and Canadianpopulations, helping streamline logistics, reduce transit times, and support faster, more reliable delivery acrosskey markets. The new hub also strengthens Pure Flavor’s broader supply chain network, supporting continuedgrowth and evolving customer demand across North America.

The fully refrigerated distribution center supports streamlined receiving, cold storage, and outbound shipping,helping ensure freshness and reliability from greenhouse to customer. With this expanded footprint in Michigan,Pure Flavor continues to invest in a supply chain designed for performance, sustainability, and long-termpartnership.

 

The company expects the Romulus distribution center to play a key role in supporting customer growthacross the region, strengthening day-to-day service levels, and enhancing network efficiency as Pure Flavorcontinues to scale across North America.
