The 2022 Atlantic Canada Outstanding Young Farmers are Morgan and Karissa Smallman, of Knutsford, Prince Edward Island. They are passionate chip stock farmers.

Smallman is a sixth-generation spud farmer who works with his father and uncle. They grow for W.D. Potato which supplies the Frito-Lay plant in New Minas, Nova Scotia.

This year’s national Outstanding Young Farmers event will be held November 23-27, 2022 at the Delta Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
