The Fruit and Vegetable Dispute Resolution Corporation (DRC) held a successful annual general meeting in Seattle, Washington, on May 30th, 2024.

During the meeting, the DRC members elected two new directors to the board. Bryan Nickerson of Western Growers and Cara Porter from Loblaw Companies Limited, have been officially welcomed as the newest additions to the Board of Directors.

Members approved a decision to broaden DRC’s jurisdiction beyond products entering commerce in North America. This decision will allow members to resolve disputes regardless of location or where transactions occurred, thus expanding member benefits by increasing its global reach and member services.
