Nova Scotia’s premier Tim Houston unveiled his Conservative cabinet on August 31, 2021. He named long-time radio news director Greg Morrow (MLA Guysborough-Tracadie) to the role of minister of agriculture.
In his campaign literature, Morrow said he would listen to his community's concerns and be an advocate in Halifax on issues such as:
- Improving access to health care, mental health care, long-term care and ambulance services
- Helping the rural economy thrive by improving infrastructure such as Internet service and road repairs
- Working to meet the needs of small businesses, the backbone of our local communities
Morrow will be one of the new faces at the next federal-provincial-territorial agriculture ministers’ meeting which has been postponed until after the federal election on September 20.
