The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association (OFVGA) is launching a revamped website, designed to be an educational tool for the public, while continuing to be a premier resource for all fruit, vegetable and greenhouse farm employers and employees.
The new website aims to create a user-friendly and visually appealing experience making it easy for visitors to navigate while learning about the OFVGA’s work and Ontario’s fruit and vegetable sector as a whole. There is a special focus on sustainability and domestic food production, where users can learn about the new tools and technologies that will help make fruit and vegetable production cleaner, greener and more cost effective. The sections also touch on the main challenges facing growers today.
In addition to focus sections on sustainability and domestic food production, the website includes information on the OFVGA’s mission, the More than a Migrant program, industry statistics, resources for farm employees and much more.
