The Ontario Hazelnut Association has announced three farm tours at different locations around the province to showcase the broad growing range of the tree nuts.

 

July 27 1-4pm: Highview Orchards, Jordan Station, Niagara Region.

Les High has a beautiful, well-established eight-acre hazelnut farm. This very experienced orchardist has much knowledge to share.  Guest speaker will be Linda Grimo, Grimo Nut Nursery, who will be sharing the latest updates in hazelnut research.

August 17 1-4pm: Brillinger Farms, Corunna, Lambton County.

Todd Brillinger is hosting his first tour this year at his meticulously manicured farm. Linda Grimo will be attending this tour as well

September 28th 1-4pm: Glenridge Hazelnuts, St. George, Brant County

The Sharp family operates the largest hazelnut farm in Ontario.  This large-scale operation will show the potential of hazelnuts in the province.
