The Potato Sustainability Alliance (PSA) welcomes the Ontario Potato Board as a new Grower Organization member. The addition brings new perspectives, expertise and experience to PSA’s collaborative efforts to advance sustainability across the North American potato industry.
PSA brings together growers, grower organizations, food companies, allied industry partners, conservation organizations and other stakeholders to identify challenges, share knowledge and develop practical approaches to sustainability across the potato supply chain.
Representing Ontario's potato growers, the Ontario Potato Board is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the success of the province's potato industry through grower-led leadership, research investment, marketing and promotion, and advocacy. The Board is committed to producing high-quality potatoes while supporting innovation and serving as a trusted resource for growers and consumers alike.
As a Grower Organization member, the Ontario Potato Board will contribute to PSA’s collaborative work to identify practical sustainability solutions, share grower knowledge and support continuous improvement across the industry.
"The Ontario Potato Board is ready to embark on this journey with PSA and further discussions on sustainability, said Kevin Brubacher, Ontario Potato Board general manager. "This partnership will guide our growers and all segments of the industry to a more sustainable future. We are excited to begin this journey!"
