Vestaron Corporation (Vestaron), The Peptide Company, has named Plant Products, based in Leamington, Ontario, the exclusive distributor for its greenhouse products in Canada. It will start with Spear-T bioipesticide followed by several launches in the next few years. 

Spear-T is a novel technology and a first of its kind in the control of important insects that affect the Canadian greenhouse market. Spear-T’s flexibility, new mode of action (IRAC Group 32) and integration into an IPM program are all key components of the new peptide-based bioinsecticide.

This partnership will bring a brand-new mode of action to the market and help solve difficult-to-control pests in the greenhouse ornamental and vegetable markets coast to coast.” 

Spear-T has been submitted to the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for registration in Canada.
