Fall Creek Farm & Nursery, Inc., has promoted Dave Daniel to general manager for Fall Creek’s United States and Canada business. Previously, he was the blueberry breeding and nursery company’s U.S. operations manager. In his new role, Daniel is accountable for managing and developing the U.S. regional team, supporting, and enhancing the company’s values and culture. He is responsible for developing the annual operating plan to meet goals and budget. Daniel is based in Lowell, Oregon, and reports to Alberto Medina-Mora, regional director for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
In 2012, Daniel and his wife sold their Pleasant Hill Nursery in Pleasant Hill, Oregon, to Fall Creek, and he joined the company as farm manager in Oregon. In 2014, he was promoted to production manager, overseeing plant production and crop health at all of Fall Creek’s Oregon facilities. He was promoted again in 2019 to operations manager.
