The Canadian Centre for Food Integrity (CCFI) held its Annual General Meeting on April 19, 2023, announcing the election of new officers and directors. Mike Dungate was elected as president, Julie Dickson Olmstead as vice-president, and Darlene McBain as secretary-treasurer, bringing their extensive experience in the agri-food sector to the CCFI's leadership team.

In addition to the newly elected officers, three directors were re-elected, including Jean-Marc Ruest, senior vice-president, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel of Richardson International Limited, Darlene McBain, director, Industry Relations at Farm Credit Canada, and Adele Buettner, founder and president of AgriBiz Communications Corp. They will continue to provide valuable insights and support to the organization.

The board of directors welcomes Michael Graydon as a new director. He is the CEO of Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP), a leading industry association that represents major food, beverage, and consumer products companies.

He joins the following individuals who are currently serving on the CCFI board:

•      Stéphane Beaudoin, President, Gestbeau Inc. and Magon Inc.

•      Adele Buettner, Founder and President, AgriBiz Communications Corp.

•      Mike Dungate, former Executive Director, Chicken Farmers of Canada

•      Timothy Kennedy, President and CEO, Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance

•      Nicole McAuley, Head of Communications and Public Affairs, BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions

•      Darlene McBain, Director, Industry Relations, Farm Credit Canada

•      Shanna Munro, General Manager, Diversey Canada

•      Mary Robinson, farmer and agribusiness owner

•      Jean-Marc Ruest, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel, Richardson International Limited

The Canadian Centre for Food Integrity is a national charity with a clearly defined mandate to help Canada’s food system earn public trust by coordinating research, resources, dialogue and communications.
