Peak of the Market adds to executive team

Deena Clarke, CFO and Jodi Johnson, marketing and communications

Peak of the Market has announced that Deena Clarke has joined the team as chief financial officer. For the last dozen years, she’s held the role of controller at Granny’s Poultry Cooperative which included the merger of Granny’s with Exceldor Cooperative in July 2019. She was also involved in the $37 million plant expansion and renovation project in 2016. 


“Deena’s financial experience in both the agriculture and food industries is a perfect match for our business and will serve us well into the future,” said Pamela Kolochuk, CEO, Peak of the Market.  


In addition to her time at Granny’s, Deena’s past financial experience in the agriculture industry includes manager, accounts payable and receivable at Maple Leaf Agri Farms as well as accounting supervisor at James Richardson International. 


The executive team is bolstered by Jodi Johnson in the newly created position of marketing and communications. Her 20-year career spans roles with the Manitoba Turkey Producers, special events with the Calgary Stampede and the Red River Exhibition.

NM Bartlett announces personnel changes
