Canada’s EarthFresh Farms is expanding into U.S. markets, opening a modern potato packing and distribution centre in Atlanta, Georgia.  The company is headquartered in Burlington, Ontario.

The Atlanta site was chosen for its ease of access, customer service, speed to market, availability of skilled workers and proximity to rich agricultural regions. EarthFresh Atlanta, as it will be known, will employ more than 100 people when fully operational in September 2019.

In total, EarthFresh grows and delivers more than 10,000 acres of fresh potatoes to retailers and foodservice providers across the U.S. and Canada. The new location offers the company the ability to better service southeastern and southcentral states, delivering fresher product faster to market.
