As it has in the past, the Ontario Fruit & Vegetable Growers’ Association (OFVGA) is once again offering its Young Farmer Program at the upcoming annual general meeting on February 21. Through the program, OFVGA member associations can invite a new or young farmer to attend the AGM as a way of promoting interest in the OFVGA and encouraging future involvement with the organization. The program is open to farmers under 40 who have never attended an OFVGA annual meeting. OFVGA will cover the cost of meeting registration as well as up to two nights’ hotel accommodation. Deadline: January 13, 2023; contact dvanderzaag@ofvga.org for more information.
