FARMS seeks renewed organizational structure

.
.

Ontario-based Foreign Agricultural Resource Management Services and CanAgTravel have published a Request for Proposal (RFP) searching for a qualified consultant who can review how the service operates and how it might align priorities for future success.

Robert Shuh, president of FARMS, issued the RFP, explaining that the two entities currently employ about 30 staff under one executive director. FARMS is actively involved in labour negotiations with source countries, including Mexico, Jamaica and several eastern Caribbean countries. Most farm clients are located in Ontario and eastern Canada, though there is the potential to expand services nationally.

The review has been prompted by the announcement of the current executive director to retire within the next 17 months. Through this review, the board wants to ensure the leadership model, governance and management structure are well aligned with the organization’s current and future needs.

The deadline for RFP submissions is February 1, 2026. Interested candidates can submit electronically to robertshuh@gmail.com
