Two inductees – Dr. Helen Fisher and Percy Hodgetts -- have left an indelible mark on Ontario’s horticultural industry. The award is being given to them posthumously.

Tracy Shinners-Carnelley becomes chair of the Potato Sustainability Alliance. She’s the vice-president, research, quality and sustainability for Winnipeg-based Peak of the Market.

While Chris Hedges has been re-elected as chair of the Ontario Apple Growers for another one-year term, Jeremy Veens becomes the new vice-chair.

Beth Patillo will chair the 2026 technical advisory committee for CanadaGAP.

Dr. Badrul Masud brings extensive practical experience to the role of water quantity engineer.
