Gowan Crop Protection has acquired the global rights for the active ingredient spirodiclofen from Bayer AG. It is active against all life stages of a wide spectrum of mites, including eggs, nymphs and female adults.
Vegetable growers have access to Beleaf insecticide for the suppression of tarnished plant bug on leafy greens, crop subgroup 4-13A and leaf petiole vegetables, crop subgroup 22B. Stone fruit growers should note an increased label rate for aphids on stone fruit, crop group 12-09.
