Due to shifting global trade and rising import demand, the USDA now forecasts the fiscal year 2025 deficit in agricultural trade to rise to approximately $49.5 billion. Fruit exports are down $12.09 billion (14%). Vegetable exports are down $4.79 billion (6%)
Plainfield, Wisconsin will feature sweet corn and green bean varieties. Salinas, California will feature romaine lettuce, spinach and cauliflower. Woodland, California will be the site for cucurbits as well as tomatoes and peppers. All events August 12-15, 2025.
