Canadian wins one of International Fruit Tree Association awards

The International Fruit Tree Association announced it 2023 awards at mid-February meetings in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shane Johnson, executive director shared the list.

 

Canadian Leslie Huffman, a former apple specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs from 2008-2015 has won the Outstanding Extension award.

 

Dr. Jim Luby, University of Minnesota, won the Outstanding Researcher award.

 

Joe Rasch, Conklin, Michigan won the Outstanding Grower award.

 

Don Armock, president at Riveridge Produce Marketing, won the Industry Service award.  A second Industry Service award went to Pat Chase, field representative at Jack Brown Produce.
