Gowan Company has announced a strategic research collaboration with UK-based Moa Technology Limited, aimed at advancing next-generation crop protection solutions. This partnership combines Gowan’s proven expertise in herbicide technology with Moa’s cutting-edge innovation in “amplifier” compounds, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable agriculture and enhanced crop protection. The amplifier molecules, identified by Moa scientists, are non-herbicidal on their own, but will potentially allow farmers to reduce the concentration of the agricultural herbicides they currently use. 

This collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies to deliver innovative solutions that address critical challenges in modern farming. By improving herbicide efficacy, reducing application rates, and enhancing resistance management, this partnership underscores the company’s dedication to supporting growers with sustainable, effective tools.
