Christopher Gerlach, vice-president, insights and analytics, US Apple, has released the latest statistics for apple holdings in the United States in February 2026.  

According to the survey, the total number of apples in storage on February 1, 2026, was 128 million bushels, 2 per cent less than last February’s total of 130 million bushels and 7 per cent more than the five-year average for that date.

Fresh apple holdings this February 2026 totaled 86 million bushels, 7 per cent less than the inventories reported for last February. Processing holdings totaled 41 million bushels, 10 per cent more than last year on February 1.
