Aranet and Apogee Instruments are bringing wireless greenhouse light monitoring to growers with a new joint offering: eight Apogee sensors, covering PAR, ePAR, far-red, solar radiation, and plant temperature measurements, now made fully wireless through the new Aranet Apogee Transmitter. Aranet will show the collaboration at GreenTech North America, the first U.S. edition of the show, running September 23-24 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
Aranet has long covered greenhouse climate and root-zone monitoring. The addition of Apogee sensors gives growers another option for how they capture light and plant temperature data, all wireless, all in Aranet Cloud alongside their existing climate and root-zone measurements.
"Growers want more visibility across the greenhouse, but running cables to every point they want to measure is not always practical or cost-effective. Bringing Apogee's proven light measurement technology into the Aranet wireless ecosystem gives growers more visibility, without adding more wiring or complexity," said Evija Gosse, business development and sales in horticulture, North America at Aranet.

Growers and horticulture professionals attending GreenTech North America can see the new sensors in person at booth 112, alongside Aranet's existing CO2 and climate lineup.
Aranet is a wireless environmental monitoring solution built by SAF Tehnika, active in horticulture, HVAC, indoor air quality, and radon monitoring. Aranet Pro sensors and base stations are used by growers, facility managers, and researchers to collect and act on environmental data across single sites and large multi-site deployments.
