The Ontario Lavender Association has honoured Anita and Steve Buehner, former owners of Bonnieheath Estate, and the Schooley family, Apple Hill Lavender Farm, for their leadership within the industry.
Apple Land Station was named Member of the Year at the recent Agritourism Ontario annual general meeting. Dan and Randy Muzylowsky, were recognized for outstanding visitor engagement, innovation, and commitment to on-farm experiences at Thorndale, Ontario.
The most prestigious international award in the fruit trade industry, FLIA, goes to the allergy-friendly apple brand POMPUR and to the lidar-based agricultural spraying L50 Drone from ABZ Innovation in 2026.
Two inductees – Dr. Helen Fisher and Percy Hodgetts -- have left an indelible mark on Ontario’s horticultural industry. The award is being given to them posthumously.
