2 years 9 monthsBill studied horticulture at the University of Guelph. He and his wife Lesliann grow 160 acres of wine grapes in the Niagara region. While he continued to farm he was elected to the Grape Growers of Ontario, as a board member in 1995, and moved up to chairman, a position he held for 9 years. Bill currently holds the positions of chair for the OFVGA and is an Ontario director on the Canadian Hoticultural Council.
