The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association is hosting Spray Smart Deep Dive, an event coming to Elora, Ontario on Wednesday February 7th, 2024.

The target audiences for Spray Smart Deep Dive include:

-  Farmers, large or small, who spray their own crop and possibly that of their neighbours

-  Farmers who have a lot invested in their crop operations and contract their spraying, who could optimize their relationship with their spray operator and overall management through increased knowledge

-  Custom spray applicators

-  Farm supply personel involved in spraying and/or selling crop protection products

-  Ag equipment dealers’ staff who sell and service spraying equipment and their customers who have purchased spraying equipment

-  Crop consultants/advisors

Crop spraying has become one of the most important field operations on the farm. The goal is to drive the field once during planting and once during harvest, but the sprayer makes several trips across each acre to protect the crop. The spraying operation requires knowledgeable, enthusiastic people with the right skills, training and awareness to ensure these critically important operations occur with optimal efficiency to maximize profit per acre.
