The Canadian Produce Marketing Association has named 18 rising stars who will be participating in the Passion for Produce program at the annual convention and trade show in Toronto.

- The Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada, representing a sector valued at $5.9 billion, brought together members and stakeholders to its annual general meeting. Past presidents, dating back to 1983, helped cut the cake.
- The Fruit & Vegetable Growers of Canada honoured three award winners at its 100th anniversary banquet in Vancouver. Winner of the Doug Connery Award was Deb Hart, vice-chair of the seed potato sub-committee.
