British Columbia has announced a pilot program for infrastructure improvements to support tree and berry canopy cooling as well as shade and heat protection for harvested fruit, berry or vegetable crops.

Perennia is administering the On-Farm Climate Action Fund for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador, a program that’s focussed on soil health through cover cropping. Deadline for the first intake is July 31, 2022.
