The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council has published a study that shows Canada contributes $348.9 million of blueberry exports to fill seasonal gaps in the U.S.
Due to shifting global trade and rising import demand, the USDA now forecasts the fiscal year 2025 deficit in agricultural trade to rise to approximately $49.5 billion. Fruit exports are down $12.09 billion (14%). Vegetable exports are down $4.79 billion (6%)
