The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused McCain Foods to delay a major expansion project in the U.S. Plans to add another 170,000 square feet to its processing plant in Othello, Washington for battered and conventional French fries are on hold. 

 

The $300 million project was due for completion in 2021.
