2 years 9 monthsChris Duyvelshoff, is OFVGA's crop protection advisor. Most recently, he’s been a sales representative for Syngenta Canada, focussed on fruit, vegetable and ginseng production. Previously, he worked in agricultural extension in Nova Scotia, spending five years with Perennia as the provincial tree fruit specialist. He has gained practical experience working with growers on product selection and conducting on-farm research trials of new materials. Duyvelshoff has earned a bachelor’s of science degree in agriculture with a horticulture major from the University of Guelph as well as a master’s of science in plant agriculture.
