The Pesticides Regulatory Directorate has announced the minor use label expansion registration.

Effective April 1, the Pest Management Regulatory Agency changed its name to Pesticides Regulatory Directorate.

Based in Forth Worth, Texas, AgBiTech mass produces and commercializes biological insecticides which are naturally occurring viruses that control key caterpillar pests. Most products are used in row crop farming systems.

AAFC researchers Jonathan Griffiths and Aiming Wang review many plant viruses that result in reduced production.

Dale Kobelsky will take up the role on April 1, 2026.
