Health Canada will be cancelling some uses and restricting others of three neonicotinoid pesticides. Changes are ahead for crops ranging from tree fruits to berries to cucurbit vegetables. All uses for orchard trees, for example, have been cancelled.
The extended label on this foliar fungicide will assist growers in suppressing powdery mildew on field and greenhouse mint as well as greenhouse-grown lettuce.
BASF Agricultural Solutions Canada will relocate its head office from Mississauga, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta effective October 1, 2019. Horticultural staff will continue to work from eastern Canada.
